British vs American 1: pants

We had been warned about this one prior to moving and had already been practicing switching to calling our pants trousers. It still feels posh to say though. And it was humorous while in the States for 3 weeks this summer attempting to switch back. I hope we’ll get used to the language switching eventually. The bizarre looks we get and the correction we often receive is exhausting. I know my girls get it even more at school.
